Who We Are

The Upstate SC GMRS Group is a community of like-minded radio operators with a common mission and vision for GMRS in the upstate of South Carolina

Our vision

Is to form a strong community of GMRS radio operators across the upstate keeping radio communications alive in an ever-growing society of technology. This vision is furthered by hosting classes on GMRS radio, emergency communications, and emergency preparedness. Additionally, having volunteers who can be sent out to assist other organizations and communities in establishing temporary communications. Along with encouraging families to get out and be active by helping them stay connected during activities.

Our mission

Is to create an interest in radio communications within the upstate, by building a strong community of radio operators, supporting public safety, education, and emergency preparedness.
